Gloversville golfers top Hudson Falls

HUDSON FALLS – Kyle Johnston posted a 43 to lead Gloversville to a 191-208 win over Hudson Falls in a Foothills Council golf match at Kingswood Golf Club on Tuesday.

Kyle Fonda carded a 48 for the Huskies, while Justin Putnam posted a 49. Brian Bentley added a 51 for Gloversville.

Derrick Crandall led Hudson Falls with a 44, while Devin Burch carded a 48. Ayden Murphy finished with a 56 for the Tigers and Tom Kiernan added a 60.

Broadalbin-Perth 161, Schuylerville 169

GREENWICH – Alex Bond finished with a 37 to lead Broadalbin-Perth to a Foothills Council win over Schuylerville at Windy Hills Golf Course.

Brett Getman carded a 39 for the Patriots, while Noah Scott finished with a 42. Sean Craig added a 43 for B-P.

Carter Fritch led Schuylerville with a 32, while Tyler Herringshaw finished with a 44.

Job Eustis had a 45 for the Black Horses and Jon Palmer added a 48.

Colonial Council

Schalmont 179, Fonda-Fultonville 239

ROTTERDAM – Jake Benaquisto finished with a 39 to lead Schalmont to a win over Fonda-Fultonville.

Luke Pasquerella carded a 45 for the Sabres, Christian Caputo had a 47 and Austin France added a 48.

Adam DeSorbo led Fonda-Fultonville with a 43, while Alex Mahon added a 63. Garrett Kowalczyk posted a 65 for the Braves and Ethan Harding recorded a 68.


Northville-Mayfield 15, Schoharie 0

NORTHVILLE – Jordon Fordyce carded a 1-under par round of 35 to lead Northville-Mayfield to a Western Athletic Conference win over Schoharie at Sacandaga Golf Club.

Frank Coulter and Gavon Winn each posted rounds of 43 for Northville-Mayfield, while Mario Quintana had a 55. Jane Hoffman added a 64 for Northville-Mayfield.

Joe Polley led Schoharie with a 54.


Amsterdam 166, Schenectady 174

AMSTERDAM – James Phelps and Marc LaBahn each finished with rounds of 38 to lead Amsterdam to a non-league win over Schenectady.

Kevin Ottati and Corey Tambasco each posted rounds of 45 for the Rams, while Jon LaBahn had a 46. Andy Madej added a 47 for Amsterdam.

Calvin Cleworth recorded a 39 to lead Schenectady, while Jason Cyr finished with a 42.
