Man ticketed after accident
MAYFIELD – Four people were injured – including one taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital – from an accident investigated by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 4:43 p.m. Sunday on Route 30, north of Route 349.
Deputies said driver Edward R. Spraker II, 23, of 260 Persch Road, Gloversville, suffered minor bleeding to an arm, but was not immediately taken to a hospital.
Deputies said three passengers in a car driven by Kandis M. Bassette, 22, of 550 County Highway 152, Mayfield, were injured. Cody C. Pettit, 22, who had an arm fracture and John M. Jordon, 25, who complained of a neck injury, were both taken to Nathan Littauer Hospital. Deputies said another passenger – Julie E. Flansburg, 18 – suffered a leg fracture and was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Deputies said Spraker was traveling north on Route 30 and turned left in front of Bessette’s car to go into the parking lot of Fuel & Food gas station when a collision occurred.
Spraker was ticketed on a charge of failure to keep right.
