Officials: Passed out driver had needle

JOHNSTOWN-A man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after Fulton County sherriff’s deputies said they found him passed out at the wheel of car.

James J. Orapello, 30, was charged by deputies Aug. 22 with driving while ability impaired by drugs. No address was provided for Orapello in the news release detailing his arrest.

In the release, deputies stated they received a report of a man driving erratically and determined it was Orapello after they found him passed out at the wheel of a car.

Deputies said Orapello was also charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to signal a turn.

Orapello was arraigned in Town Court and sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
