Family Fun Day received help from many

On behalf of the Hamilton County Youth Board, I would like to take the time to thank the countless individuals who helped make our Family Fun Day another huge success. We had more than 400 people attend this year’s event.

First and foremost, we would like to thank our sponsors: Stop DWI Program, Camp of the Woods, Blue Line Electrical Services, Charlie Johns, The Speculator Department Store, GA Bove and Sons Fuel, Lake Pleasant Marine, Tanners Outdoor Sports, Lake Pleasant Sacandaga Association, Wilt Industries, St. Hubert’s Episcopal Church, Volt Landscaping, Lawrence & Smith, Attorneys, J & R Eldredge, Adirondack Teleworks, Gadway Realty, J. Moore Construction, The Indian Lake Restaurant, Pine’s Country Store, Puterko’s Family Pizzeria, Tracy Lumber Co., Vogel Construction, Sunrise Diner, The Indian Lake Garden Club, John and Diane Zeis, Richard Mayers, Cedarhurst Motor Lodge, Cathy Page, Hamilton County Amateur Radio Club, Hamilton County Cable TV, Torts Twist, Adirondack Arc, Adirondack Health Institute, and Mina and Bonnie Knowlton.

We would also like to say thank you to the many local businesses that donated prizes for our giveaways and the organizations that tabled and had exhibits that day. We wouldn’t be able to pull off such an event without the hard work of our many volunteers and organizers, including those from Victorian Manor, members of the Youth Board, HFM Prevention Council, The Speculator Volunteer Fire Department, The Adirondacks Speculator Region Chamber of Commerce, the Hamilton County Highway and Buildings Department and the village of Speculator crew. A special thank you goes out to Trooper Joseph Lomonico from Troop B for all of your help that day. Thank you to all of you who played a part in this great day. Please mark your calendars for Aug. 3 for our Sixth Annual Hamilton County Family Fun Day.
