Woman charged for ‘paternity reasons’
JOHNSTOWN – A Utica woman wanted by Fulton County Family Court on a paternity-related arrest warrant was charged Thursday by Oneida County sheriff’s deputies.
Fulton County sheriff’s deputies said Kayla Watson, 26, of 14 W. Kennedy Plaza, Utica, was charged at noon at the Little Falls State Thruway Exit. She had been wanted on the family court warrant for paternity reasons, deputies said.
Watson was arraigned in Fulton County Family Court and released by Judge Edward F. Skoda. She was advised to return with her child to the Fulton County Department of Social Services on Friday.
