YMCA fall program registration set

JOHNSTOWN – Registration for the Fulton County YMCA’s Fall I program will begin Monday, according to a news release.

According to the news release Wellness and Fitness Director Sheldon Howard will be leading serveral new classes including “Youth Introduction to Weight Training”, a Wednesday class that will run from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. aimed at 14-17 year old members and “Beginners Balance & Stability,” a Tuesday class from 11:15 a.m. to noon aimed at seniors.

Weekend classes have also expanded, with the addition of cycling and cardio kickboxing. Cardio kickboxing will also be offered Tuesday morning at 5:30 a.m. Other fitness classes will be offered every weekday morning at 5:30 a.m. for the Fall I program, according to the news release. Aqua Zumba and Aqua Aerobics and Aqua Kickboxing have also been added evenings from 5:15 to 6pm.

The general public can begin registering for classes Aug. 25.
