Amber Lee Albanese, the daughter of Carl James and Donna Albanese of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Mark G. Rubscha Jr., the son of Mark and Debora Rubscha Sr. of Caroga Lake, at 7 p.m. June 13.
The ceremony and reception for 150 guests took place at The Lodge at Echo Lake, Warrensburg, Warren County.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The maid of honor was Mandie Albanese, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Sam Rosen of Troy and Alicia Kromschroeder of Johnstown, sister of the bridegroom. The junior bridesmaid was Esibella Albanese, niece of the bride.
The best man was Connor Wager. The ushers were Jake Gordon and brother of the bride, Austin Albanese, both of Johnstown. The ringbearer was Bryce Kromschroeder, nephew of the bridegroom.
A wedding trip took place in Jamaica at the Sandals Negril Resort. The couple resides in Johnstown.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Johnstown High School and earned a master’s degree in literacy from The College of St. Rose. She is a special education teacher at Warren Street Elementary School, Johnstown.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Johnstown High School. He is a union electrician working for International Brotherhood Electrical Workers Local 236 out of Albany.
