Gloversville man faces robbery charge

GLOVERSVILLE – A city man is accused of being involved in a robbery.

City police said Ralph Nolan, 25, of 191 Spring St., was arrested on a warrant charging him with robbery, robbery conspiracy and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

City police said officers assisted the New York City Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives with an investigation into an armed robbery in New York City that occurred in December.

Police Capt. John Sira said he did not know any details about the robbery.

Sira said Nolan, the suspect in the robbery, was first arrested Sunday night on a disorderly conduct charge. Nolan was then turned over to NYPD detectives Monday, he said.
