Contract to study drainage considered
JOHNSTOWN – The Common Council will consider approval of a hydraulic/hydrologic study at its meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
The council will consider approving a $66,650 contract with Greenman Pedersen Inc. of Albany to conduct a study of several creeks and study drainage issues in the city.
Other proposed resolutions to come before the board will include one to authorize a $100,000 grant application to the state for funding under the Tactical Team Targeted Grant Program. The council will also consider an intermunicipal agreement between the Johnstown and Gloversville police departments to create a Special Weapons and Tactics Team, or SWAT Team.
