Woman charged with DWI twice

JOHNSTOWN – A Gloversville woman was charged by city police with driving while intoxicated twice on Friday.

Police said Jocelyn M. Bishop, 23, of 234 W. Fulton St., apartment 2, was charged the first time at 1:42 a.m. on Whitmore Avenue with unreasonable speed, failure to keep right, improper left turn, improper right turn, DWI, and driving with a 0.08 percent or higher blood-alcohol content.

Police said Bishop was processed at City Hall and later took a cab from her residence to where her car was parked at the arrest scene. Police said that at about 4:12 a.m. Friday, she was charged again on East State Street with failure to stop at a stop sign, DWI, and driving with a 0.08 percent or higher blood-alcohol content.

Bishop will appear in City Court for both incidents.
