St. Mary’s gives service awards
AMSTERDAM – St. Mary’s Healthcare recently held its annual recognition and awards dinner with associates who earned recognition for five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years of service at St. Mary’s.
Associates were honored for both long-term commitment and exceptional contributions to quality healthcare, a news release said.
Sister Rita Jean DuBrey, CSJ, was honored for 50 years of service. DuBrey is the director of complementary therapies and is widely known for her work with patients and community members. She received recognition from Vic Giulianelli, president and CEO of St. Mary’s; Peter Capobianco, former president and CEO of St. Mary’s; Michele Walsh, vice president for nursing; and Kathleen Occhiogrosso, vice president of human resources.
During the event, the “Dear Neighbor Award” was presented to Heather Casler by Sister Joan Mary Hartigan, vice president for mission at St. Mary’s. Casler works as reimbursement coordinator in the finance department; the award recognizes her infectious spirit, her services as a community volunteer and her willingness to go above and beyond for her colleagues, the release said.
