School bus hit on Steele Ave. Ext.
GLOVERSVILLE – A school bus transporting children of the Gloversville Enlarged School District was rear-ended this morning while traveling on Steele Avenue Extension, authorities said.
Troopers at the accident scene said no one was injured and the students riding the bus were transported by another bus that was sent to the scene.
Assistant Superintendent Steven Schloicka said this morning the accident was minor. Per district policy, all of the children were checked by medical personnel before being transferred to another bus to continue their school day, he said.
The bus wasn’t damaged as a result of the accident.
State police said troopers are still investigating the accident.
