Kearsten Malagisi, the daughter of Frank Malagisi of Gloversville and Hope Sweesy of Charleston, S.C., was united in marriage to Toby Bruse, the son of Robert Bruse of Northville and Ginger Perham of Gloversville, at 7 p.m. Dec. 31, 2013.
The ceremony took place at The Hall of Springs, Saratoga Springs. Fulton County Surrogate Judge Richard C. Giardino officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The maid of honor was Melissa Hillock of Gloversville. The bridal attendants were Megan McGregor of Boston, Mass.; Kayla Russo of Jupiter, Fla.; Courtney DeCarolis of Utica, Oneida County; and Alysha Sartin, Nicole Rode and McKenzie Burns, all of Gloversville.
The best man was Nicholas Sgambato of Indianapolis, Ind. The ushers were Brandon Waylett and Jeffrey Blacha, both of Gloversville; Christopher Biasini and Tyler Malagisi, both of Amsterdam; Marc Iorio of Albany; and Jonathan Cameron of Greenfield, Saratoga County. The ringbearer was Jared Malagisi of Gloversville.
A reception for 170 guests took place at the Hall of Springs.
A wedding trip was to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The couple resides in Amsterdam with their silver labrador, Gunner.
