Candidates for job at meeting June 10

FONDA – The Fonda-Fultonville Central School District Board of Education will present the two finalists for the superintendent position at a public meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. June 10 in the auditorium.

The candidates are Thomas Ciaccio, the elementary school principal; and David Halloran, the high school principal.

The public meeting will provide an opportunity for key stakeholders (such as parents, residents, students and staff) to meet the candidates, ask questions and provide feedback to the school board, a news release said.

The Board of Education will appoint one of the candidates to the position of associate superintendent-principal. Serving in this role, the appointed candidate will be mentored by Superintendent Raymond Colucciello for a period of time yet to be determined, the release said.
