Woman charged with grand larceny

GLOVERSVILLE – A woman was arrested Monday for the theft of a debit card that was used in multiple stores in the city, police said.

Tammy M. Auspelmyer, 47, of 76 N. Main St., was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, and two counts of petit larceny.

Police said on May 7 it was reported an NBT debit card was stolen from a person. An investigation revealed the debit card was used at two stores in the city, police said.

The suspect was identified as Auspelmyer and a warrant was issued for her arrest, police said. She was incarcerated at the Fulton County Jail on an unrelated arrest and was brought to City Court, police said.

She was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Fulton County Jail on $100 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
