Police: Man stole $1K in silver coins
GLOVERSVILLE – A city many was charged with a felony for stealing more than $1,000 in silver coins in March, according to police.
Michael A. Conde, 32, of 295 N. Main St., was arrested Monday and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.
Police said March 27 it was reported that $1,100 in antique silver coins were stolen from The Collector’s Corner store, located on West Fulton Street.
After an investigation, police said, evidence was discovered showing Conde was the responsible for the crime.
A warrant was issued, and Conde was located Monday.
He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Fulton County Jail on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
