MHA schedules annual dinner

JOHNSTOWN – The Mental Health Association in Fulton and Montgomery Counties will host its 2014 Annual Dinner and Silent Auction on May 29 at the Holiday Inn at 308 N. Comrie Ave.

A meet-and-greet and the silent-auction bidding will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m.

Jim Gumaer, director of Montgomery County Community Services, will be the guest speaker.

Fulton County After School Program participants will model wardrobe selections from Handy Ups N’ Downs.

The evening’s program will feature the announcement of the award winners of the second annual MHA Scholarship, as well as the recipient of the Ruth S. Voorhees Award.

Tickets cost $35 for adults. A plated dinner of chicken fingers is available for children ages 12 and younger for $12.
