FONDA – Nick Chiseri threw a no-hitter to lead Voorheesville to a 4-0 win over Fonda-Fultonville in a Colonial Council baseball game Thursday.

Chiseri struck out 12 on his way to the complete-game win for the Blackbirds, who improved to 10-10 overall and 7-8 in Colonial Council play.

Kristian Singh, Alex Paigo and Joe Guerette each had an RBI for Voorheesville.

Fonda-Fultonville slipped to 10-8 overall and 7-8 in Colonial Council play with the loss.

FORT PLAIN – James May had two hits and three RBIs to lead Fort Plain to a Western Athletic Conference win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Aiden VanLoan had a single and two RBIs for Fort Plain (14-2 overall, 13-2 WAC), while Kiernan Briggs had a double, an RBI and two stolen backs. Jesse Heroth added a single and an RBI for the Hilltoppers.

The win was the 710th career victory for Fort Plain coach Craig Phillips, who is tied for first with Eastchester’s Dom Cecere on the all-time New York State Public High School Athletic Association win list.

Maclin Norray had two singles and an RBI for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, while Taylor O’Connor and Justin Lee each had a double and an RBI.

SCHOHARIE – Mitch Barton had a sacrifice fly, a two-run single and three RBIs to lead Schoharie to a WAC South Division win over Duanesburg.

The victory clinched the WAC South title for the Indians.

Devon Brooks had two RBIs for Schoharie (8-5 WAC).

Gabe Gentile had an RBI single for Duanesburg.

AMSTERDAM – Bryan Stanavich had a single and double to lead Amsterdam to a win over Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons at Shuttleworth Park.

The Rams had nine different players register at least one hit as part of an 11-hit effort.

Eric Robertshaw had two singles for Amsterdam (11-6 overall, 9-6 Big 10).

JOHNSTOWN – Connor Askew had four singles and five RBIs to power Johnstown to a win over Mayfield.

Askew also picked up the win on the mound for the Sir Bills, allowing five hits in seven innings of work.

Jon Heroth had single, double and four RBIs for Johnstown (11-6 overall), which put 16 runs on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Bobby Gates had a double and three RBIs for Mayfield (3-15 overall), while Jordan VanNostrand, Dylan Lanza, Luke VanNostrand and Alex Colby each had singles.
