Boys Lacrosse Roundup: JHS loses to Greenwich
GREENWICH – Hayden Stalter finished with three goals and six assists to lead Greenwich to a 14-1 win over Johnstown in a boys lacrosse game Tuesday.
Glenn Taylor had four goals and two assists for the Witches, while Garret Carraga had three goals and an assist. Dennis Dauphin and Jordan Watkins each scored twice for Greenwich, while Dauphin also added an assist.
David Fahr scored the lone goal for Johnstown (9-6 overall), which suffered its third straight loss.
Adam Thomas made 14 saves for the Witches, while Zach Simone made 17 stops for the Sir Bills.
Amsterdam 14, Utica Proctor 4
AMSTERDAM – Jon Magaletti finished with three goals and two assists to lead Amsterdam past Utica Proctor at Lynch Literacy Academy.
Corey Dybas had two goals and two assists for the Rams, while Matt Fedullo scored twice and had an assist.
Luigi Iorio scored two goals for Amsterdam (8-7 overall), which picked up its third straight win.
Kevin Ottati registered a goal and an assist for the Rams, while Tyler Nordby, Anthony Yevoli, Reid Perry and Teddy Piccoccia also scored. Elijah Newborn added an assist for Amsterdam.
Dillon Smith and Mike Sollecito combined to make 11 saves to share the win in goal for Amsterdam.
