Reception to honor group

This week is National Salvation Army Week – a week dedicated to saying thank you to all who give of time and talents to the Salvation Army each year and enable critical services to communities, families and individuals in need.

The Gloversville Salvation Army at 10 Spring St. will host a Volunteer Appreciation Reception on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. – stop by the Salvation Army as we say thank you on behalf of the Salvation Army and those we serve. The reception will provide people with an opportunity to learn more about the Salvation Army, past and present, in Gloversville and Fulton County. A children’s carnival will be hosted simultaneously Friday as well, behind the main building.

Thank you to all who donated to the Stamp It Out For Hunger Food Drive and the Post Office Workers who collected donations; together, sharing is caring.

God bless you for remembering those in need.
