Gloversville to host parade for holiday
GLOVERSVILLE – The annual Gloversville Memorial Day parade will be held at 9:30 a.m. May 26.
The line of march will be from Sixth Avenue and North Main Street, east on Sixth Avenue to Kingsboro Avenue, south on Kingsboro to Fulton Street, then west on Fulton to the main entrance to Prospect Hill Cemetery where it will disband.
At the completion of the parade, memorial services will be held at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the cemetery.
The groups who have not been contacted to participate in the parade may call the parade committee.
The parade committee members are Kenneth Rockwell, Ambrose Anderson, Harold Gordon, Joni Wilson, Linda Fisher, Karen Dwyer Smith, Debbie Finkle, Michael Perrella, Todd Mercer, Brian Perrella, James Schraeder, Jim West and Robert Perrella.
