Boys Lacrosse Roundup: Sir Bills rout Maple Hill
CASTLETON-ON-HUDSON – David Fahr scored six goals to lead Johnstown to a 16-4 win over Maple Hill in a boys lacrosse game Tuesday.
Austin Brand and Jeremiah Robinson each had three goals and five assists for the Sir Bills, while Austin Smith scored twice.
Marshall Manchester and Anthony Mowrey each had a goal and an assist for Johnstown (9-3 overall), which won its seventh straight game.
Austin Seymour had three goals and two assists for Maple Hill, while Cole Cioffi also scored.
Zack Simone had six saves to earn the win in goal for Johnstown. J.D. Dorward and Carter Zimmerman combined to make seven saves for Maple Hill.
La Salle 13, Amsterdam 4
AMSTERDAM -Grant Gardner finished with three goals and an assist to lead La Salle to a win over Amsterdam at Lynch Literacy Academy.
Dan Facci had two goals and three assists for the Cadets, while Alex Fron and Connor Luizzi each scored twice.
Ben Mulson had a goal and three assists for La Salle, while Dan Marcelle had a goal and two assists. Christian Apicella and Luke Marcelle also scored for the Cadets.
Anthony Yevoli scored twice for Amsterdam (5-7 overall, 1-4 Big 10), while Jon Magaletti had a goal and an assist. Corey Dybas also scored for the Rams, and Matt Fedullo had an assist.
Brandon Myron made 10 saves for La Salle, while Dillon Smith made 16 stops for Amsterdam.
