Students would come first

I am running for the Gloversville Enlarged School District Board of Education. I have lived in Gloversville for 19 years and have a son at Gloversville Middle School.

I have been involved as a parent member on the Committee of Preschool Special Education since 2004, have been active in PTA (currently vice president), and have always been an active parent in the classroom since my son was in pre-K at Boulevard.

If elected, I am committed to serving on the board to ensure our children get the best possible education the Gloversville Enlarged School District can provide. I want to ensure we boost the graduation rate of high school students and make college an assumption – not an option.

I also am committed to fiscal responsibility for the Gloversville Enlarged School District and will not forget that controlling local tax rates is key in helping families and making our community a desirable place to live. I hope I can count on your support on May 20 for school board member in the Gloversville Enlarged School District.
