H.S. Baseball Roundup: Johnstown romps to 14-4 win over Tigers

HUDSON FALLS – The Johnstown Sir Bills made the most of eight errors by the Hudson Falls Tigers and romped to a 14-4 victory in Foothills Council baseball action Thursday.

Jon Heroth had a triple and collected four RBIs for Johnstown, while Joey Henderson contributed two singles.

Johnstown will return to the diamond tonight when it travels to Gloversville for a 7 p.m. game at Husky Field.

SOUTH GLENS FALLS – The Bulldogs put four runs on the board in the second inning and made them stand up against Broadalbin-Perth on Thursday.

Zach Ahrens had a double and two RBIs for South High, while Hayden Chapman also doubled.

Luigi Magliocca, Brett Getman, Connor Pingitore and Joe Zarecki all singled to account for the Patriots’ hits.
