Pancake breakfast scheduled Saturday

FULTONVILLE – St. Monica Chapter 486, Order of the Eastern Star, will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Fultonville Reformed Church, corner of Route 30A and Route 5S, as a fundraiser for the Masonic Medical Research Laboratory.

The Masonic Medical Research Laboratory, located in Utica, is a not-for-profit institute that has gained international renown and wide acclaim in the scientific and medical community as a leading cardiac research center, a news release said.

The Order of the Eastern Star throughout the state has made MMRL and the local food pantries their charitable projects for this year, the release said. All who attend the breakfast can bring an item to donate to a food pantry.

The cost will be $8 for adults; the event will be free for children 8 and younger.

The menu will include pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, home fries, sausage gravy, biscuits, apple sauce, orange juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

The breakfast will be the last breakfast until Sept. 6, the release said.
