JHS boys lacrosse tops Voorheesville
VOORHEESVILLE – Austin Brand finished with seven goals and two assists to lead Johnstown to a 15-3 win over Voorheesville in a boys lacrosse game Friday.
It was the second win in as many days for the Sir Bills over the Blackbirds. Johnstown posted an 18-3 win over Voorheesville at Knox Field on Thursday.
David Fahr finished with two goals and an assist for Johnstown (4-3 overall), while Marshall Manchester scored twice. Jeremiah Robinson added two goals and five assists for the Sir Bills, while Anthony Mowrey had a goal and two assists. Austin smith also scored for Johnstown, which won its fourth straight game.
Jacob Ardman had a goal and an assist for Voorheesville, while Spencer LeDuke and Sam Weiss also scored.
Zack Simone made nine saves for Johnstown, while Dylan Haugen made 26 stops for Voorheesville.
