Red Cross aids family after fire

CAROGA – Volunteers from the American Red Cross of Northeastern New York provided assistance to a family of five adults and a 2-year-old child after a fire this morning on Alderwood Park Road in Caroga Lake, according to a news release.

The family was given assistance with lodging, clothing and food, according to the release.

Caroga Lake Volunteer Fire Company Chief Barbara DeLuca didn’t return phone calls to provide more information this morning.
