Boys Lacrosse Roundup: Sir Bills edge Cambridge, 6-5

CAMBRIDGE – David Fahr and Austin Brand each scored twice to lead the Johnstown boys lacrosse team to a 6-5 win over Cambridge on Tuesday.

Anthony Mowrey added a goal and an assist for the Sir Bills, while Marshall Manchester also scored.

Ryan Jeskie had two goals and an assist for Cambridge, while Jarred Sausville scored twice. Chris Warnke added a goal and an assist for the Indians.

Zack Simone made 11 saves in goal for Johnstown. Christopher Huber made 10 saves for Cambridge (2-2 overall).

Schenectady 9, Amsterdam 6

SCHENECTADY – Mike Moore finished with three goals to lead Schenectady to a win over Amsterdam.

Erick Aldas scored a goal and had five assists for the Patriots, while Alex Martinez had a goal and an assist.

Felix Rodriguez, James Blanchfield and Kevin Canty also scored for Schenectady.

Corey Dybas scored three goals for Amsterdam (2-4 overall), while Matt Fedullo had two goals and an assist. Jon Magaletti also scored for the Rams.
