H.S. Softball Roundup: Amsterdam splits two games

CASTLETON-ON-HUDSON – The Amsterdam High School softball team split its two games at the Maple Hill Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Rams posted a 19-10 win over Granville and lost 19-4 to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk.

In the first game, Ashley Pryzyblowicz finished with four hits, including two home runs, and five RBIs for the Lady Rams. Morgin Russell and Ella Dybas each had two hits against Granville.

In the second game, Pryzyblowicz, who was named to the all-tournament team, had two hits.

Little Falls 15, Dolgeville 0

LITTLE FALLS – Amy Hart pitched a four-hit shutout to lead Little Falls to a win over Dolgeville on Friday.

Kelli Shepardson was 2-for-5 with two RBIs for Little Falls, while Kaitlyn Duesler was 2-for-5 with an RBI. Laura Wind also had two RBIs for the Mounties (2-1 overall, 2-1 CSC), who scored nine of their runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
