Albany sweeps Amsterdam boys tennis, 9-0
AMSTERDAM – Albany won all six singles contests and all three doubles matches on its way to a 9-0 win over Amsterdam in a Big 10 boys tennis match Wednesday at Amsterdam High School.
Rafael Cabahug, Jonus Cabahug, Manuell Guerrero, Jinming Li, Lucas Young and Austin Longstaff all won singles matches for Albany (4-1 overall, 4-1 Big 10).
In doubles play, Gregory Neumann and Levi Kovach won at first doubles.
Liam Hill and Jean Rubi won by forfeit at second doubles and Hames Futia and Imran Muthuvappa won by forfeit at third doubles.
Amsterdam slipped to 0-2 overall and 0-2 in Big 10 play with the loss.
