Volunteers dealt poker run great help

On behalf of the Nick Stoner Trailers Snowmobile Club, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to our annual poker run. Thank you to all the club members who worked day after day getting our trails in shape. Our dedicated trail maintenance group did a great job working with the snow we received.

Thank you to all the club members who volunteered to help and donated their time for the poker run. We had people volunteer to put up signs, stand at road crossings, and help with registration as well as selling raffle tickets. Thanks also to Brian from Canada Lake Computers for donating his time to update our website several times a year. Everyone did a great job and your help is greatly appreciated.

The raffle was a huge success and I would like to thank the following area businesses for the donations: Alpin Haus, Ace Hardware, Johnstown Agway, B&B Equipment, Beacon Warehouse, Bona’s Liquor Store, Bowman’s Market, Brown’s Ford, C&C Auto Works, Camper’s Corner Store, Canada Lake Store, Center of Attraction, The Coffee Shop, Demi’s Liquor Store, Doc’s Remedy Inn, Fuel and Food, Fultonville Machine, Groom’s Store, Hairific, Hart’s Motorsports, Herba’s, Hot Dog Hut, John C. Miller’s, Kingsboro Lumber, Lennon’s, Maple Tree Knoll, Napa of Johnstown, Northeast Snowmobile, Nix Auto Body, Outlet Restaurant, Palace Diner, Palmer’s Pharmacy, Peck’s Florist, Peck’s Lake, Pine Lake Lodge, Pine Lake Stoves, Patricia’s Restaurant, Partners Pub, Reliable Auto, Powerhouse Motor Sports, Recovery Room Sports Bar, Royal Mountain, Stewart’s Shop, Shepard Oil, Vintage Cafe, Vrooman’s Hotel, Whitey’s and Zambri’s Motorsports.

Thank you to all the area businesses that provided a place for the riders to check in. I know things can get a little crazy at times, and I hope everyone had a profitable day. A special thanks to Vrooman’s Hotel and the Best family for being the host of the poker run. We invaded you at a very early hour and took up space the entire day.

Last, but not least, thank you to all of the registrants (riders) of the poker run; the club hopes that everyone had a great day of riding. Hopefully, we will see you all next year.

I hope that I didn’t miss anyone; if I did, I would like to say thanks again to everyone.
