AnnaMaria Wing, the daughter of Noel and SueAnn Wing of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Jared Goderie, the son of Peter Goderie and Sandra Vosburgh of Johnstown, on Aug. 24, 2013.
The ceremony took place at Goderies’ Family Tree Farm. The Rev. Stephen Wing, uncle of the bride, officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The maid of honor was Marlaina Wing, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Nicole Gibson and Brittany Van Skiver, cousins of the bride. The flower girl was Leah Valovic, cousin of the bridegroom.
The best man was Trevor Goderie, brother of the bridegroom. The groomsmen included Gerrod Briggs and Joseph Carville. The ringbearers were Jay and Nash Wing, nephews of the bride.
The music for the ceremony was provided by Becki Watson, aunt of the bride; and Jordan White.
A reception for 180 guests took place at the tree farm.
A wedding trip took place in Lake Placid. The couple resides in Johnstown.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Johnstown High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Nazareth College in 2010 and a master’s degree from the University at Albany in May 2013. The bride is employed as a high school English teacher in the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville School District.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 2009 graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, Clinton County, with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. He is employed at Goderies’ Tree Farm and Royal Mountain Ski Area.
