JHS boys lacrosse loses opener, 9-3

LANSINGBURGH – Shay Curtis finished with three goals and three assists to lead Lansingburgh to a 9-3 win over Johnstown in a boys lacrosse game Tuesday.

Dakota Franklin scored three goals and had an assist for Lansingburgh (3-0 overall), while Ryan Ouimet had three goals and an assist. Cameron DeLisle also scored for the Knights, while Matt Kent had an assist.

Austin Brand scored all three goals for Johnstown (0-1 overall), while Jeremiah Robinson had an assist.

Mark Root made 17 saves for Lansingburgh, while Zack Simone made 12 stops for Johnstown.

The Sir Bills are scheduled to host Maple Hill on Thursday at 5 p.m.
