The public is invited to attend the meeting and hear a presentation by Fred Breglia, an ISA certified arborist and executive director of the Landis Arboretum. Breglia, “Tree Man,” is an “ADK 46er” and will hold a PowerPoint presentation on trees, the release said. Breglia will bring materials, including some wood samples from old-growth sites he has worked in, with tree cross sections and increment borings, measuring tools and survey maps, the release said.

The chapter will have a follow-up date to visit an old-growth forest and trails of the Landis Arboretum in Esperance, the release said.
