Raiders close out road trip with win

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Fulton-Montgomery Community College ended its spring break road trip with a 4-3 win over the Methodist University junior varsity.

Christian Maldonado (Troy) started and got the win for FMCC (3-8).

Gloversville graduate Chris Rockefeller led the Raiders’ attack with two hits and an RBI. Greg Ruddy (Troy) added two hits. Joe Nellis (Johnstown) stroked a two-RBI single.

FM’s first game of their northern schedule is scheduled for April 1 at Columbia-Greene Community College. The first pitch is set for 2 p.m.
