Winter Carnival fun for all

McNab Elementary School recently had its annual Winter Carnival on March 7. This is the fifth time the carnival has been held and it was another great success. Students played games, listened to music, ate pizza and enjoyed each other’s company. Students especially liked the giant slide, and throwing a pie in the principal’s face.

This event could not have occurred without many volunteers pulling together to make it happen. Special thanks to the McNab-Meco PTA, led by co-presidents Kelli DeMaio and Sue Dennie, Treasurer Tina Newland and Secretary Mary Jo Lomanto, whose tireless efforts enabled this carnival to occur. There were many high school students and parents who volunteered their time building games, running events, manning the food, etc., so that the carnival ran flawlessly. We may be doing something different next year, but whatever that may be, you can bet it will be a great time.
