Woman convicted of grand larceny

JOHNSTOWN – A Broadalbin woman convicted of felony grand larceny in a credit card case was sentenced March 12 in Fulton County Court to two to six years in state prison.

Maureen R. Eberle, 52, of 24 Third Ave., was sentenced by Polly A. Hoye as part of a plea arrangement.

The sentence was based on her her Dec. 5 guilty plea to felony third-degree grand larceny. She was also ordered to make restitution in the amount of $9,163.

Eberle was arrested by state police on June 7 in the town of Mayfield.

She is convicted of stealing property during the time of May 2013 and June 2013 from Joseph Hancher. The property consisted of credit cards and related charges to area businesses, authorities said.
