Taco Bell presents plans for city site
JOHNSTOWN – Taco Bell will present plans to the city Planning Board next month for a new restaurant at the site of the vacant Burger King restaurant on Route 30A, Fire Chief Bruce Heberer said today.
Heberer said the fast-food company is submitting plans to his code enforcement office for a roughly 2,600-square-foot Taco Bell restaurant at the site. The existing Burger King building will be demolished to make way for the new Taco Bell. Plans will be reviewed by the planning board at 4 p.m. April 1 at City Hall.
Taco Bell – a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, with corporate offices in Irvine, Calif. – calls itself the nation’s leading Mexican-inspired fast food restaurant. Taco Bell serves made to order and customizable tacos, burritos, and specialties.
