Anderson, Thackrah roll perfect games
GLOVERSVILLE – Kevin Anderson and Ernie Thackrah rolled 300 games and Benny Sturgess had a 299 in Premiere Scratch league action Friday night at Arterial Lanes.
It was Anderson’s first career perfect game in over 40 years of bowling. On his last strike he pointed up and said “Thank you, Betty” referring to his mother, Better Anderson, who was a long-time outstanding bower in the area. Anderson finished the night with a 732 triple.
Thackrah finished the night with a 718 triple, while Sturgess rolled a 725 series.
