The Fulton County district attorney’s office provided incorrect information to The Leader-Herald regarding a plea this week in Fulton County Court for a story that appeared in Friday’s edition. Chiffon Butler, 26, of 426 Central Ave., Hamington, N.J., pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Butler is expected to receive six months in the county jail and five years of probation when sentenced later. The district attorney’s office incorrectly provided the name of co-defendant Justin “Blue” Jansen, 25, of 330 Division St., Schenectady, as the person who pleaded guilty. Jansen’s case is pending, District Attorney Louise Sira said Friday afternoon.
