Cudmore to speak at museum
GLOVERSVILLE – History book author and newspaper columnist Bob Cudmore will present a history talk at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fulton County Historical Society and Museum, 237 Kingsboro Ave.
Cudmore’s latest book is “Hidden History of the Mohawk Valley: The Baseball Oracle, the Mohawk Encampment and More,” published by History Press. In 2011 he wrote “Stories from the Mohawk Valley: The Painted Rocks, the Good Benedict Arnold and More.”
Cudmore writes the weekly “Focus on History” column in the Daily Gazette.
Cudmore hosts the morning show on Lite 104.7-FM/1570-AM WVTL radio in Amsterdam, including a Friday feature at 9:05 a.m. called “The Historians.” He hosted WGY radio’s nighttime talk show from 1980 to 1993 and has co-produced history documentaries for WMHT public television, the release said.
