Woman’s case adjourned in court
GLOVERSVILLE – The woman charged in October with stealing $13,000 from the Fulton United Soccer Club had her case adjourned until March 24, according to City Court.
Sandra Yost, 45, of 129 West Bush Road, is accused of stealing from the club from January 2007 through December 2011.
Yost was previously arraigned on a charge of third-degree grand larceny, a felony. She could face up to seven years in state prison if convicted, Fulton County District Attorney Louise Sira said.
She is being represented by attorney Robert Abdella of Gloversville and has pleaded not guilty.
Police said Yost, a former treasurer of the club, spent the money for personal use and fraudulently issued checks to family members during her tenure as treasurer.
