FMCC men edge HVCC, 83-80

TROY – Kenny Barr finished with 20 points and nine rebounds, leading the Fulton-Montgomery Community College men’s basketball team to a, 83-80 come-from-behind victory over Hudson Valley Community College in a Region III contest Wednesday.

The Raiders trailed 50-37 at the half before outscoring the Vikings 46-30 in the second half.

Kadeem Stanislas scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for FMCC, while Khaleeq Baum finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Marquis Edwards added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Raiders.

Jose Reyes scored 18 points to lead HVCC (12-12 overall), while Nate Monson finished with 14 points. Matt Walker added 11 points for the Vikings.

FMCC (9-15 overall) will travel to Columbia-Greene Community College on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest.
