Ann Rooney, the daughter of Roger and Marilyn Rooney of East Greenbush, formerly of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Matthew Clifford, the son of Michael and Ann Clifford of West Hartford, Conn., on Oct. 26, 2013.
The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Church, Ballston Spa, Saratoga County. Monsignor Leslie J. Ivers officiated. A reception followed at the Saratoga National Golf Club.
The maid of honor was Mary Rooney, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Gina Biscotti, Brittany Mayer, Heather Gladis and Jorelle Aronovitch.
The best men were Michael Clifford and Brian Clifford, brothers of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Christopher Coleman, Andrew Rossiter, Mark Iantosca, Jason Floyd, and Ryan and Sean Clifford, nephews of the bridegroom.
The bride is a graduate of Gloversville High School, Boston University and Columbia University, where she received a master’s degree in speech and language pathology. She is a speech pathologist at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Conn.
The bridegroom, a graduate of West Hartford High School and the University of Richmond, works in finance accounting in the New York City area.
