Chamber slates seminar Thursday
JOHNSTOWN – The Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a seminar for employers on the recent minimum wage increase and changes to unemployment insurance Thursday at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, 2805 Route 67.
The seminar will be presented by two representatives from the New York State Department of Labor, Delores Caruso and Kenneth Hartnett. The seminar will take place in FM’s College Union building, in the Large Lounge. Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m., and the presentation will begin at 8 a.m. There will be a question-and-answer period following the presentation. Chamber members from the Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce will also be in attendance.
Admission is $5 per person for Chamber members and their employees and $15 per person for future members. The event is open to Chamber members and to the public.
