Boys Basketball Roundup: Fonda-Fultonville rolls to council win

RAVENA – The Fonda-Fultonville Braves outscored Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 37-17 in the second half to blow open a close game on their way to a 70-45 win in Colonial Council boys basketball action Thursday night.

The Braves held a slim three-point advantage at the half but outscored the Indians 15-6 and 22-9 in the third and fourth quarters to pick up the victory.

Will Turner paced Fonda-Fultonville with 27 points, while Cam Ives added 14 and Ryan Scofield added nine.

Josh Hall paced RCS with 12 points, while Matt Ferriero and Sky Rebeor had 11 points apiece.

NORTHVILLE – After being tied at the half, Middleburgh pulled away from the Falcons with a 21-point third-quarter en route to the crossover victory.

Troy Hinkley connected for 18 points for Middleburgh, while Tanner Van Allen added 16 points.

Northville was led by Kalob Russell’s 13-point performance, while Wolfie Reinke chipped in with 10.
