H.S. Bowling Roundup: Mayfield tops Duanesburg
GLOVERSVILLE – Anthony Brandow rolled games of 212 and 233 on his way to a 601 series, leading Mayfield to a 3-1 win over Duanesburg in a Western Athletic Conference boys bowling match at Arterial Lanes on Monday.
Tyler Cramer posted a 176-496 for the Panthers, while Alex Colby finished with a 195-485. Adam Colby added a 174-480 for Mayfield, which finished with a 2,471-2,300 edge in total pins.
Tyler Largeteau rolled a 225-545 to lead Duanesburg, while Dylan Tallman posted a 184-516.
Fort Plain 4, Schoharie 0
SCHOHARIE – Austin Cotton finished with a 192-480, leading Fort Plain to a Western Athletic Conference win over Schoharie.
Drew Fureno posted a 215-472 for the Hilltoppers, who finished with a 2,320-2,073 advantage in total pins.
Perry Lawyer led Schoharie with a 202-527.
Canajoharie 4, Saratoga Catholic 0
SARATOGA SPRINGS- Travis Colegrove rolled a 243-657, leading Canajoharie to a Western Athletic Conference win over Saratoga Central Catholic at Saratoga Strike Zone.
Ryan Weaver had a 208-619 for the Cougars, while Jimmy Fiaschetti posted a 211-580.
Anlyn Billington posted a 198-537 to lead Saratoga Catholic, while Kyle Bailey added a 194-535.
Canajoharie finished with a 2,891-2,735 advantage in total pins.
Fonda-Fultonville 10th at tourney
FONDA – Fonda-Fultonville finished 10th at the Colonial Council Tournament with a total of 2,374 pins.
Lansingburgh won the team title with 3,794 pins, while Mechanicville (3,691) was second. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (3,679) was third, Schalmont (3,676) was fourth and Voorheesville (3,566) was fifth.
Lansingburgh’s Mason Gowie had the high series with a 746, while Mechanicville’s James Carola posted the high game of 288.

AMSTERDAM – Zack Terry rolled a 245-664 to lead Christian Brothers Academy to a win over Amsterdam at Kelly’s Imperial Bowling Center.
Chris Radliff posted a 234-634 for CBA.
Marc LaBahn posted a 235-614 to lead Amsterdam, while Billy McGaffin had a 214-605, Jon Schulz added a high game of 256 for the Rams.

SCHOHARIE – Megan Williams posted a 224-607 to lead Schoharie past Fort Plain.
Beth Mallett rolled a 225-555 to lead Fort Plain.
Schoharie finished with a 2,147-1,823 advantage in total pins.
Lady Braves eighth at tourney
FONDA – Fonda-Fultonville finished eighth at the Colonial Council Tournament with a total of 1,528 pins.
Lansingburgh won the team title with 3,582 pins, while Mechanicville (3,379) was second. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (2,894) was third, Schalmont (2,866) was fourth and Cohoes (2,481) was fifth.
Lansingburgh’s Katie Lynch had the high series with a 661 and a high game of 277, while Lansingburgh’s Paige Jacobs posted the high game of 258.
