Girls Basketball Roundup: Lady Bills roll past Hudson Falls, 49-34

JOHNSTOWN – Hope Cerasuolo scored 14 points, leading Johnstown to a 49-34 win over Hudson Falls in a Foothills Council girls basketball game Friday at Johnstown High School.

The Lady Bills jumped out to a 21-2 lead after one quarter, only to have Hudson Falls outscore them 25-13 in the second and third quarters to close to within 34-27.

Johnstown (11-4 overall, 8-3 Foothills) put the game away by outscoring the Tigers 15-7 in the fourth quarter.

Megan Anagnostopulos finished with 12 points for the Lady Bills, while Brianne O’Rourke added 10 points.

Tanner Barton scored 11 points to lead Hudson Falls (4-7 Foothills).

The Spartans outscored the Lady Dragons 32-2 in the first quarter and led 51-6 at the half on their way to the win.

Eileen Hurley scored 14 points for Queensbury (11-0 Foothills), while Nikari Carota added 12 points.
