Local parent conference set for February

My name is Christopher Lasnick and I am the program director and the president of a non-profit organization, the Youth Activities Committee, also known as The Project.

I am writing this letter because I, first of all, want to say happy new year.

Also, I would like to mention that the Youth Activities Committee is sponsoring a two-day parent conference and information nights. This is a free program and it will be held at these locations: from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Johnstown Public Library and from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Gloversville Public Library. This is open to all parents who have children in prekindergarten through eighth grade within Fulton and Montgomery counties. Due to the limited space, 25 people are allowed at each location. Children are welcome to attend. Donations are always accepted.

For more information, call 844-6184; email theproject12095@hotmail.com; or visit www.facebook.com/youthactivitiescommittee. You must come both days if you register.
