FMCC splits with Adirondack

JOHNSTOWN – Sherice Gayle had a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Lady Raiders to a 70-45 victory over SUNY Adirondack Saturday afternoon at FMCC.

Vernoica Chea also hit for double-digits for FMCC (13-3 overall, 7-1 conference) with 17 points and Monae Abrams added 10 rebounds and nine points.

Shelby Graham and Courtney Jenkens led Adirondack with 11 points apiece, while Kiera Warner added 10 points and Jamie McLaughlin pulled down 10 rebounds.

JOHNSTOWN – The Fulton-Montgomery Community College men’s basketball team played SUNY Adirondack even in the second half but could not erase a 10-point halftime deficit as the Raiders dropped a 94-84 decision Saturday at FMCC.

Khaleeq Baum led the Raiders (6-11 overall, 2-8 conference) with 30 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Kadeem Stanislas added 26 points, seven assists and five rebounds, while Carlos Rivera pulled down 12 rebounds to go with his eight points.

Traquan Scales led the Timberwolves (6-11 overall, 3-4 conference) with 23 points, while Josh Thompson added a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Horace Copeland added 17 points, while Kayln Credle and Devin Zurlo finished with 12 points apiece.
